3pm energy slump
Ask a primary school teacher when pupils are at their least attentive and many will agree it's in the hour or two after lunch.
Similarly, many adults notice a slump in their energy levels - somewhere around 3pm.
You've digested your lunch, and enjoyed the burst of energy that follows any meal.
But if you're not eating the right foods at mid-day, you'll find that energy burst fades quickly, leaving you tired and restless.
